From then on it became an integral part of who I am and I started to help others better themselves. I have experience in training for track and field, boxing, athletic conditioning, and corrective exercise. Getting my clients to improve their life and capability to enjoy and appreciate new things is why I train. I strive to have my clients reach new levels of achievement and overcome challenges. There is always a constant search for getting out of comfort zones and advancing to the next level in this never ending game that is fitness. If you are looking for more than one way to reach your best you than I can help

Two and a half years ago, back in Venezuela I won a local Crossfit competition in Caracas and that’s when it all began happening. After that, I just decided to take fitness seriously and make of it my life and career.
I have been working as an independent personal trainer, as welll as a group class instructor for three years (functional, metabolic, circuit training, boot camps and TRX). I have a Functional Training System Certificate from Venezuela (FTS), which is nationally recognized and co-signed by the National Association of Medicine and Medical Rehabilitation in Venezuela. I also have workshops such as:
International Kettlebell and Fitness Federation (IKFF) – Kettlebell Level 1
Introduction to Crossfit
Hybrid Training System – Level 1, 2 and 3 of 4
TRX Online Course
In December 2016 I got the Diploma as Fitness and Nutrition Specialist from the American Fitness and Nutrition Academy.
As a personal trainer I focus on fat loss, strength, endurance, and muscle gain. My workouts tend to be very challenging but quite fun once you’re done with them and realize you actually were able to do things you considered out of your reach, at first. Either with free weights, metabolic circuits or free-style calisthenics (which I actually do on a daily basis and it’s like my fitness passion), I always try to expand my classes’ and my clients’ comfort zone.
Aside from helping people getting to their goals, I really enjoy the fact that people end up working out not only because it makes them look good but it makes them feel good. As I always say in every class and to each one of my clients, you can do anything you set your mind to; and to quote two very famous labels, just do it cus anything is possible.
Full Name: CHARLES YANCEY
I am a lifetime athlete. My interest in exercise started in his teenage years. Being a track runner, discus thrower and javelin player, having a stronger and more functional build is critical to avoid injury and to keep on progressing as a player. I broadened my horizons when I trained in martial arts. My training style is muscle confusion. I incorporate high reps with each exercise. The number of sets and reps can always change. I have my clients doing active rest in between sets by doing various ply metric exercises. My sessions usually only last between 30-60 minutes, but they are at a high intensity level. You tell me what you want to change and we will come up with a plan. I train you so you can train yourself! I hold certifications in
AFPA (American Fitness Professionals & Associates)
ISSA ( International Sports Sciences Association).

Name: Lisa Ruckh ~ Fitness Professional
I started teaching fitness classes as a teenager, at a small women’s gym in my hometown in the San Gabriel Valley, and never looked back. At the time, I couldn’t have foretold it would become a lifelong passion, talent and ambition. I was fascinated, personally, by the health benefits, but over time became even more enamored by the healthy changes, attitudes and goals I was able to inspire in others. Even now, when my class participants or clients tell me that they’ve reached a pinnacle in their health, diet and/or weight loss goals and they have my encouragement to thank for it, my heart soars. It’s the reason I do this.
My desire from the beginning was to present myself as a knowledgeable and capable fitness professional. I was among the “firsts” to certify with AFAA when the organization was formed in 1985. I’ve continued to stay on top of industry trends and advancements with continued education, in order to provide the best, safest and most results-oriented classes and training sessions. I enjoy passing the information on to my students and clients as well, as I feel it’s just as important to educate them about the “whys” as the “hows”. After all, they are entrusting me with their most precious possessions: their hearts, lungs and bodies! My sessions are safe and informative. With a sense of loyalty and dedication, I focused on working at one facility for many years as my hub, where I built an enthusiastic following and reputation. From there, I also branched out to include my own clients on the side, and some corporate fitness clients as well. Over the years, my level of expertise and leadership abilities placed me in an ideal position for management.
I became Group Fitness Director and managed a department of 35 instructors and over 50 classes per week. In addition to schedule, equipment and class maintenance, hiring, training, payroll and instructor/class evaluation counsel, I also handled in-house marketing/promotion and member satisfaction. It was a challenging and satisfying role that I relished for 14 years. I thrive in the fitness environment, assimilate myself easily and quickly, and maintain a high level of responsibility and integrity. I’m eager to continue applying myself in any and all faculties that I can best be of service, and look forward to many more years of sharing my ardor for good health!
